Pam has been serving the Koochiching SWCD for 15 years and has been instrumental in helping the District grow in both programming and staff. Born and raised in International Falls, Pam understands the local resources as well as the people, making her a valuable asset to the Koochiching SWCD. As a graduate of the MASWCD Leadership Institute, Pam has taken advantage of several opportunities to further the mission of the District by working with Minnesota Senators and Representatives and their staff both here in International Falls and in Washington D.C.
As many of you know, Pam is not exactly “shy” and she can usually be found with a smile on her face and a funny story just waiting to be told…making her very well known throughout the state and very fun to work with.
District Technician

Justin, a native of Rolla, North Dakota joined the Koochiching SWCD in September 2008 as the new District Technician. His desire to make International Falls his home along with his knowledge of natural resources make him a perfect “fit” for this very diverse job. With a passion for hunting and wildlife management, Justin brings a wonderful sense of enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors which will surely resonate with most folks in this area. Whether you are looking for wetland assistance, erosion control information, or are interested in a forest stewardship plan, Justin is a resource professional who can assist you with most all of your land management needs.
Justin has a weakness for “all things hunting”…especially information related to White-tailed Deer. So if you want to put a smile on Justin’s face, stop by the office with your latest hunting story, shed or big buck photo!
Program Assistant

Krystina also joined the Koochiching SWCD in September 2008 filling a brand new position as the Program Assistant. At only part-time, she is rapidly becoming an essential part of the District and is quickly learning what life is like at an SWCD. Krystina tells us that she is enjoying the daily challenge of learning the many duties of a new position, most of which include assisting the District Coordinator with finances and taking the lead on many of the educational programs. As a recent graduate from BSU with a degree in Business Administration, Krystina looks forward to expanding her hours and her duties over the next few years with the District.
Krystina can usually be found at her desk, diligently working with a smile on her face as she quietly listens to the good-natured joking around her. This former hockey player is just what the office needs to help keep everything running in good working order!
